After breakfast, drive to Yamoussoukro, the political capital of Côte d’Ivoire. Here, you’ll visit the iconic Basilica of Our Lady of Peace—one of the largest churches in the world. Explore two important cultural towns today. In Kaouara, visit the mud-brick mosque, built in classic Sudano-Sahelian style. Continue to Kong, once a key city in the trans-Saharan trade. Its historic mosque and old town reflect centuries of history. Return to Korhogo in the late afternoon.
